Les dissidents ont quitté la Martinique par la mer pour rejoindre les îles anglaises (Dominique,Sainte-Lucie ou même Trinidad). Leur traversée était rude et mouvementée. Arrivés sur les îles, ils rejoignaient les Etats-Unis, plus exactement Fort Dix, pour s’entraîner au combat. Une fois prêts, ils se rendaient en Afrique du Nord (les femmes dans les hôpitaux et les hommes au front),avant de rejoindre le front en Europe.
The dissidents left Martinique by sea to join the English islands (Dominica, Saint Lucia or Trinidad). Their crossings were rough and hectic. When they arrived to the islands they reached United States of America, more precisely Fort Dix, to train for combat. Once done they went to North Africa (women in hospitals and men at the front) and then Europe.
